when will 17207 be repainted into EMR Purple Livery

when will 17207 be repainted into EMR Purple Livery as its currently in EX TFW and EX GA livery and i would like to know when will it be likely to be repainted into standard EMR Livery please?

206, 207 and 208 are all still white. There's problems with backlog of materials and availability of engineering facilities due to depot upgrades so any train that works is required in traffic, more or less.

I think that one is waiting for at least one new engine. The 170/2s are vinyled as they were only painted a few years ago. Most of the units that are stopped at Etches Park are awaiting materials.

As others have said, it’s more a case of substance over style at the minute. Main thing is to have services running as opposed to reducing them for the purpose of aesthetics. The time will come, just a case of when.
