OBB NightJet in Germany

Hi
I'm gonna take the OBB NightJet from Hamburg to Basel and have FIP coupons for DB/Germany and SBB/Switzerland and a reservation for a sleeper cabin. Is that enough? Or do I need an OBB/Austria coupon as well since the operator for the NightJet is OBB and not DB? I'm not going into Austria.

AFAIK you need DB and SBB coupons. The RDG says in the Travel Tips for Europe: "FIP coupons: coupons must cover entire route (e.g. Germany to Italy: DB, ÖBB and FS)" (page 149).
As to the reservation, a friend of mine asked several railways shortly after ÖBB took over a number of CNL routes and eventually the answer was to book a pass reservation, so for Interrail/Eurail. We've done that even since and it has always been accepted in at least a dozen NJ journeys. The advantage of a pass reservation is that you can do that online. RDG does not specify what type of reservation you need.

Whilst the service is branded as Nightjet, it is actually operated by DB/SBB.
A good way to check who operates a service is either the wagonweb website on on the DB website where you can view the times of a particular train and scroll to the bottom to see the operator

As far as I know, NJ in Germany is operated by ÖBB. The attached IC carriages (under a separate train number) are operated by DB. For this train, both Vagonweb and bahn.de show the combined train with the combined operators.
If you book a sleeper or couchette, you won't see DB's carrier code on the ticket or reservation.

Yes, the CIV code on the reservation is 1181, not 1180. But I hope in connection with the DB-coupon I'm covered.
