The station looks German, but with a Swiss train, so possibly N of Basel (the Frankfurt/Zurich SBB train) or between Lindau-Munich. As the latter is about 180 km, and we can see a km marker near that figure, I’m going to wildly guess that new station Lindau Reutin that they recently opened. The other infrequent cross-border route being that EC that goes from Germany via Friedrichshafen to Austria. (Does that still run?)

Correct! And I didn't realise that about the ECE, interesting.... (they're very comfortable trains so can see why they're used...)
The TGV is unusual (by normal European standards*) in being operated by "SNCF voyages Deutschland" (says DB) not as a Kooperationszug (joint ) service - so you have to buy your ticket to Freiburg/Breisgau (its destination) via DB International.
* ignoring France/Spain/Italy where they no longer cooperate!
Anyway, here is a (sadly defunct - 2012 photo) "cooperation." The variety of stock should give an idea of the route.

It's ran as just SNCF as their own Open Access operation (it's even branded as part of the national TGV InOui brand, which is the only international one to wear it), 1tpd. There is also 1tpd direct from Bordeaux bypassing Paris, but branded only TGV.
I have absolutely no idea why it is not part of the cooperation, however.
Alternatively it can be bought on SNCF Connect/Trainline

Something slightly Germanic about the station building, I feel....
For those who didn't identify the route, this was the evening Basel-Brussels services by the historic route, Swiss stock, SNCB strengthener (compartment coach) behind the SNCF loco.

That's a signal post on the left I think. The layout reminded me of Zbasynek, which I also thought had a plinthed loco, but it isn't.
