Does anyone know if a 377 (either a 377/2 or a 377/5 unit) ever made it to Moorgate at any point? Either in passenger service or empty under test?

Moorgate closed on the 20th of March in 2009 but the 377s arrived in late January 2009 so there was a brief period of just over a month where FCC had the 377s and Moorgate was still open. I can find photos of 317s and 319s at Moorgate station. But no evidence of 377s going there which is why i wonder if it ever happened.

The 377s entered passenger service on Brighton to Bedford services on the 18th of March and were also used in passenger service on the 19th of March and the 20th of March too. So there was three possible days (18th/19th/20th) that a 377 could have gone to Moorgate in passenger service. Unfortunately i can not find the diagrams of what they were used on during those three days.

Also they arrived in late January 2009 and were used on multiple test runs and driver training runs. So even if they never made it in passenger service there was over a month where they could have made it to Moorgate under test or during driver training. So it is possible.

So just curious if anyone knows whether it ever happened? Is there any evidence of a 377 going to Moorgate at any point?

Yes just went and looked on a Facebook group from work, unbranded 377507 on test runs to Morgate.

Thank you both for the replies. So that confirms that both 377/2s and 377/5s have been to Moorgate before it closed. So at least 377 208 and 377 507 have. I had never seen a photo before so i always wondered.

Searching on Flickr now i have stumbled across these other photos which also shows 377 208 at Moorgate station:

It looks so out of place seeing a 377 parked up at Moorgate station.

Now the only question whether they ever did it in passenger service but i suspect not as there was only three possible days and they probably just did Brighton to Bedford services?

Also are there any photos that you are aware of that show 377 507 at Moorgate on test?

I didn't realize how recently the open air section above the Thamesink platforms was covered over!
