Norwood Junction fast train warning sound is gone

There are 'fast train' warnings on the platfrom screens at Norwood junction (when the Thameslink 12-cars come through at a fair old lick), but the distinctive horn sound has gone from the loudspeakers.

Pretty sure it's because the CIS software has been updated and the Amey system removed.

Which route goes through west Norwood? I thought all non suburban thameslink went via LBG

Norwood Junction is not West Norwood. Having said that, I think some Thameslink diversions have used Crystal Palace, Gipsy Hill, West Norwood, Tulse Hill, Herne Hill to get to Blackfriars.

Yes as Horizon22 says the replacement of Amey with Worldline has sadly meant the end of this Connex trumpet horn. The sound plays from the Daktronics (Data Display) CIS boards on the platforms (rather than from the main announcement speakers) but only Amey (and Thales too) have the ability to support sounds from CIS boards. Unfortunately the Worldline system does not support this feature so it can no longer be played. It is a shame as the sound is such a great idea. It really gets your attention for fast trains and platform alterations.

Hahaha. Yes. That goes without saying. But sometimes I do need it said as well.
