Overnight station parking - how to pay for this

I need to do a trip to London on Saturday. Plan had been to park at Liphook station, get a train up, do a shift, come back, done. Happy. Easy.

However... I've been asked to cover Sunday as well, which has caused a few logistic issues.

One of those that is a question mark is parking... I can see that there are Saturday and Sunday whole day rates, and a weekend rate that is higher than the two days, as it covers three and a bit days.

I can't see any option for paying in advance (I remember ticket stock car park tickets, before all the apps). Given that overnight parking is supported, but the parking has ANPR, what is the best way to deal with a two day parking session? (I don't want to have to buy another session on the app at 00:01 on Sunday)


I would normally consider walking, but since I'm now going to have more stuff to take with me, and the persistent heat here, that is not really desirable this time.

If it uses the same app as Woking, you'll get asked how long you want to park for, eg when parking up on a Saturday morning there was an option to pay for 2 days at once (which I took).

You need to be wary of what "a day's parking" actually is with station parking. At our local TfL/Overground managed car parks, if you pay for a day's parking at 00:01 using the PayByPhone app, your parking will expire just over 4 hours later at 04:30.

However, i think you're in luck though as Liphook uses RingGo and offers a multi-day £7.50 option. But the app is listing 50 price options for me!!

Yeah, I saw the 7.50 option. But I want Saturday and Sunday, which should be £5.

At the moment it looks purely academic - might be going back to the train plan for Saturday and some form of driving to London and tube for Sunday since the work hotel portal is acting up! And I can't get the train on Sunday, as the first one is too late.

If you select 2 days actually on Saturday it should give you the correct price.
