Now, I've never been to Bulgaria but I've seen plenty of photos of Ruse station...

...and that looks remarkably like the architecture there!

In fact, I might have posted about Ruse here when I was en route from Sweden to Greece last winter.

Now that the through trains from Bucharest to Sofia are summer-only (if it all?) far more international travellers get the chance to alight here (with a passport check) and explore the station.

Excellent play @Peterthegreat ... I'd have guessed Bilbao but the configuration of that station doesn't match. Although the RENFE 594 series have most recently been operation in south-eastern Spain, that lush, green, hilly landscape in the background suggests northern Spain. Perhaps someone can else can work it out.
