The Corsa, especially the older models, are absolutely terrible cars, especially if you're tall. Why young males seem to like them is beyond me. The Fiesta was/is a much better car.
Yes, until recently, Vauxhall made some awful small cars. Take the Nova, the Corsa, The old Astra (don't turn too fast - whooops!) and the Vectra.
I notice this as well.
Ferrari drivers, Lamborghini drivers, Porsche drivers.....all in lane three!
I don't understand. Really.![]()
Ive had two Vectra SRi's, a 2000 W-reg and i now have an 08 reg Vectra SRi, i don't think they deserve the stick they get, there good cars........ they both do 120mph!
My First car was a Nova (unmodded) Now have a VW Polo

I've just recalled a memory I had obviously tried to block. I was going down to Cardiff to sort out my mother-in-law, and hired a small car to get about when I was there. Passed test on manual, but had driven only automatics for years. Nonetheless, I thought it would be no problem; I would probably have clutch trouble at first, but it would all come back. Picked up car, and set off across the front of Central, stalling every few yards.
What I hadn't reckoned with was that Prince Charles was just arriving on the Royal Train, and the place was swarming with heavily armed police. Every time I stalled, half a dozen sub-machine guns were rapidly pointed in my direction - which did not help my clutch control at all. I gave up, handed the keys back and got a taxi!

Yet the X registered Citroens are doing 100mph in the fast one!
The Corsa is a classic! I'd love to give one a thrashing down the A1(M), I've seen so many owners do the same!![]()
From reading your post and your apparent surprise at finding the supercars in the slow lane and the Citroens in the "fast one", it seems you've confused which lane is which. Lane 1 is the "slow lane", and lane 3 on a three lane motorway is the "fast one", not that they should be referred to as such.
Watch out for powder-blue 4-door ones. She's nearly 60, but drives like Rene Arnoux on one of his madder days.
It amuses me that there are people who drive such cars in town doing circuits sitting in traffic burning their clutches out!If I had one (well Merc SLS preferably) I'd be heading for the alps with this on the stereo
I have been in a Prsche Turbo that did 120 on the M27! The fastest I have ever driven was about 110 in my daughter's Honda Jazz on the Autobahn..five-up!
the return of the question 'Does Zoe Drive' I'll just do the same and head for the Alps as well!

Is it me or have we all done 120mph on the M27?

Has Zoe been to the Alps?

Which part of the A30? I hope it wasn't the non-trunk section east of the A303(T) junction.I haven't - Been in a van going 115 on the A30 though (that was scary - I wasn't driving BTW)

I had a lovely blast down the M90 this evening, doing 80-85 the whole way![]()

If my memory serves me correctly, you have a Ford Ka?![]()
I've done over a ton in a Ford Ka on level road. It's quite a thrill! (being that close to death that is)
