Trainsplit/Railforum Booking - Advance Single booking cannot cope with option of Anytime Travelcard option selected: SE London to Buxton

I am trying to book a Friday early morning service from SE London to Buxton, with season ticket in mind.
The reason why I am trying to do that is to generate a valid itinery with connections from my trains to London Bridge and connection on to Euston.

However, there are keep on have errors, no matter which zones (1-4, 1-5, 1-6) have been selected for the travel card.

Can you clarify what exactly you're trying to do? Trainsplit won't do splits involving Boundary Zone tickets, if that's what you mean, you will need to purchase those separately.

You can select the option as follows to make it not charge for crossing London so you can do that on your travelcard, it's under More Options:

Experimental: Let me use Oyster/contactless to travel cross-London If enabled, fares for crossing London will be excluded. Why is this useful?

What you can't do is make it take a Travelcard into account for anything other than the cross-London portion of the journey.

We are working on taking travelcards into account for the whole journey, including splits, but it'll be a while. It's more complex than you might think!

I can guess it. Cause "starting short" the revenue journey is definitely tricky.
Hopefully bike booking on bike reservation compulsory section for split tickets function may also come in future.

That's really a function for the TIS rather than the journey planner - something the retailer can do without us. Again, it's more complex than you might think, because there's nothing in the data to tell us if a particular train allows walk-up bikes or not.

Edit: and a TIS shouldn't be selling bike reservations if the whole journey isn't possible with a bike.

Does that include splits where a Travelcard is issued in conjunction with a BZ fare? I've found a couple where that saves a few quid thanks to GTR
