We walk to the adjacent interchange and there board the 0745 Go North West service 20 to Bolton Interchange that arrives there at 0843 on Sunday morning.

We next take the 09.05 Blackburn Bus Company service 1 to Blackburn Bus Station arriving at 10.04 on Sunday.

We arrived there on the number 2 service from Chorley, so seeing that the above journey was made on the number 1 service that is run by a totally different bus operator and not the same number 2 service, it is not correct to say we were out of reach of other services.

To say "stick to what we have" gives the impression that since arrival was on a number 2 service run by Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire, the next journey would also be using the number 2 service, which was not the case as that onward journey used the number 1 service which is run by the Blackburn Bus Company

We arrived there on the number 2 service from Chorley, so seeing that the above journey was made on the number 1 service that is run by a totally different bus operator and not the same number 2 service, it is not correct to say we were out of reach of other services.

In my defence, the Asda stop is 7 minutes away which is served by the 22, 59 and the 481, however prior to that I was under the impression that we had only the 1 and 2 at this point as I couldn't see any other services. So my point was correct, but my information was wrong.

It also was a tongue in cheek comment as we've had several instances where we've been deposited just out of range of other onward connections (Posts #44524, #44577, #44596 and #44601 spring to mind....).

Anyway, let's not delay the game.
