Looking for the equivalent of the Manchester Ranger; so I can travel all day off-peak in W Yorks. Ticket appears to be £9.50 (no bus involved) but that was 15 years ago; imagine it's double that now!!!.
Can't find a validity map on either https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/tickets-railcards-offers/promotions/west-yorkshire-train-day-saver/ or following the link https://www.m-card.co.uk/the-cards/day-tickets/ - all I can find is this from several years ago https://projectmapping.co.uk/Reviews/Resources/wypte-rail-map-web FWT 2017.pdf
So is that map valid today - if not is there an updated one?
Also I intend to have the Greater Manchester Bus+Rail day ticket, so there's a gap between Greenfield and Marsden, would I have to buy a return between those two stations (buy on train??), or is the boundary half-way so both Ranger tickets are valid?
Also it states that WY Rangers can be bought from their stations, and date scratched off, how does one not in the area obtain one in advance (could I get one from Bolton??), or can I get it on the TPE x-border train buy asking the guard?
Many thanks - oh, if there's one ticket that covers both areas I'd be glad to learn!!
