Oyster Card National rail privilege discount.

Hi,

I am an Avanti west coast employee non safeguarded. I plan to use the Elizabeth line, is it possible for me to get a discount on my Oyster card under National Rail Privilege discount for residential travel? Please help.

Be aware that, as with normal tickets, the discount MUST NOT be used for Duty or Residential Travel.

For Residential Travel you need to apply for a discounted Season Ticket through the Rail Staff Travel website, though I'm not sure how that works for stations between Liverpool Street and Paddington on the Elizabeth Line.

If you get an RST Season Ticket Smartcard you'll be able to buy Weekly and longer Season tickets through RST Online.

If you opt to buy at a Ticket Office, only Monthly and longer tickets are available and you need a new form for each one.
