It's nice to see that some things just don't change... First we're similarly lacklustre when they ordered older buses to be painted into the Barbie 2 livery despite the fact they hadn't even bothered ordering the large fade out vinyls, resulting in some buses picking up bits of damage before the livery was even finished..! The mind boggles!

Apparently from what I can gather and looking at BusTimes it broke down in the Bus Station earlier in the day, as to why it wasn't towed back to Halifax Depot sooner I'm not to sure.

As usual, this is unhelpful information from First. Wrong route number (should read 1B), and it's not clear what the alteration is. It would be clearer to say 'no service between City Square and Headingley during school holidays', rather than conjuring the image of a circular service running around the block from Park Row to Infirmary Street.

There is a constant flow of buses in and out of the West Yorkshire fleet, new electric buses, hybrids withdrawn, various buses transferred in and transfers out, so it isn’t noticeable or obvious

Whilst no vehicle loss is good, it is probably fortunate that it was a 16 year old vehicle and not something newer (quite a few StreetDecks have been badly damaged recently, many less than 5 years old and some much newer)
