LED Displays at Milton Keynes Central..

Apologies for a possible re-post.

But I have not done the Man > Euston run for a while, in the day light anyway. For the first time yesterday we stopped at MK Central and I happened to notice what looked like LED display units on the far station. The looked to be in pairs and at a spacing of a few feet apart?

I then noticed some more again further down the line.

Out of curiosity what are they and what are they used for.

Permanent junction lighting to allow for overnight patrolling and maintenance, I think - if so it should be alongside most of the junctions and crossovers?
