Different location

Today I bought a single ticket from Blackburn to Rochdale. I paid using my phone. I have just checked my payments on my phone and it says that I bought something that relates to Stansted Airport. I got a ticket from the ticket office and I had no problem with it.

I think OP used mobile payment such as Apple Pay

I paid for the ticket from the station office with my phone. I received a ticket from the ticket office and it was checked twice by the guard on the train and at the end of my journey. The amount is the same as I paid for the ticket. It was paid by a virtual visa account????

Its just a glitch and nothing to worry about then, this happens to me too

I've had this sort of thing happen before, both with railway and non-railway transactions. CHeck what's on your bank statement when that comes through as that is the definitive document.
