Step aboard a beautifully restored 1938 burgundy Underground train and be treated to a trip across central London on the Piccadilly line. Passengers will travel from Acton Town station along the central London section of the Piccadilly line all the way to Oakwood station. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. For those wishing to start their travels in north London there are single tickets from Oakwood station to Acton Town.
Hear from an expert museum curator about the work and care that goes into maintaining an 86-year-old train. In addition, at one station you will be able to take part in a mini talk about the architect Charles Holden and how his innovative station design has played a major role in shaping the appearance of London.
At the other station guests will be able to shop for transport collectibles at a special pop-up stall run by the London Transport Museum Friends.

There is no reserved seating for this event, but you can choose a car:
Pink - Orange - Green - Blue
The Pink car will be at the front of the train departing from Acton Town, and the Blue car will be at the front for journey departing Oakwood station.
The doors will only open at Acton Town and Oakwood stations.
