Hello,

Today, I had a ticket on the national railway for which I tapped in with. Upon exiting, i was in a rush so i tapped out with my contactless card. I wonder what happens now? Is my card gonna be charged be the maximum fare?

Most likely, yes. Where was this?

You will need to contact TfL to have this refunded once it has been charged. You can register your card on TfL's website which will allow you to see the transaction.

Is it TfL or SWR (since the train was SWR)? How much is the maximum fare?

Always TfL within the Oyster/contactless payment area. I'm not sure how much you'll be charged.

Probably cheaper, depending on the time and whether you have a railcard.
