022 went over to Holyhead on Monday I think, but whether that is going on HD07 or whether they're swapping the locos is yet to be seen.

Is this the one that forms the 14.49 back to Manchester? I booked it for next week on the basis it was going to be a mk4 for my first train journey since 2019! (Round trip from Machynlleth) just my luck haha

We’ve also been told by SD, who’s info is 99.9% of them time bang on, that the 5th diagram would planned to be covered by MK4 once the 5car project had been completed and we are just waiting on HD05 to get its extra coach.
It’s just an internet forum where people give the best info they can to no aid of themselves.

Oh absolutely I'm just defending the fact that they never said it was 100% confirmed.
Things change! At the time that's what was supposed to be happening, and tickets were on sale accordingly.
Since then it has clearly been decided not to implement that change and all the diagrams have rolled over from the last timetable. The new ones, which were the result of an FOI request, haven't yet been implemented.
The latest info I've been told Is that it'd expected mid-july to go over to Mk4s but as with everything else on these projects it's fluid and can move expected dates right upto almost the implementation date.

I remember being told at the start of this year that the diagram that starts with the 0532 Swansea would switch to a MK4 long before the June timetable change. So yes things certainly change.
This isnt having a go at any members posting information as it is always accurate at the time of posting. We all really appreciate any information that is given.
Its more about TFW themselves - 18 months into the MK4 project and still not a full service.

67012 was swapped for 67022 at Holyhead, 67012 which will now swap again onto HD04 which is currently at Crewe ETD on tyre turning.
HD05 stops tonight for an exam at Crewe with 67014 moving from that set onto HD07.
67013 also planned to come off HD06 tonight and be replaced by 67015 which has had its wheelset problem resolved.
A couple of planned substitutions to balance things:
1W96 is planned a unit tonight to allow 67022+HD02 back out tomorrow morning from Holyhead.
67025+HD05 tomorrow will only cover the 08:49 Cardiff to Manchester and return, the 04:54 Crewe to Cardiff and 16:49 Cardiff to Manchester will be units.
Pairings for the morning will be:
67008+HD01 (04:35 Cardiff start full diagram)
67022+HD02 (05:30 Holyhead start full diagram)
67025+HD03 (part diagram-08:49 cdf-man and 12:30 Return)
67012+HD04 Tyre turning at Crewe
HD05 with no loco-exam at Crewe
67015+HD06 (06:27 from Manchester start full diagram
67014+HD07- exam at Crewe.
That's the plan anyway, as always things may and probably will change in the meantime.

Is HD05 on the exam where it’s planned to have its 5th coach ?
I'll be honest, I'm not sure yet exactly what the Saturday diagrams are this week, it would seem likely that they're they've rolled over too but can't confirm.
On Saturday HD02 and HD04 (pending tyre turning checks being completed successfully) should be available from Crewe and HD03 and HD06 should be available off Canton.
Still time for all that to change though.

No, it's only a minor exam, it's the heavier ones where the 5th cars are added (normally anyway!!). It's next heavier one will be due 28 days after completion of this one. That should take around 3 weeks including testing etc so does match with the mid-July estimate for the extra diagram.

Any news on 67016?
Seems the set off Holyhead didn't come out for whatever reason the set at Holyhead wasn't ready, now planned out Monday so the Holyhead will be subbed again this evening.
To cover there will be a couple of set swaps, HD06 will stepped up.to work the 10:52 from Cardiff instead of the 12:49 and HD01 onto the 12:49 rather than the 17:14.
HD06 will now stay in Canton at 18:00 with the 18:55 Manchester will be a unit but the 16:49 Manchester will revert to the Mk4.
This then gets everything in place for 4 diagrams on Saturday, 2 from Canton (HD01 and HD06) and 2 from Crewe (HD03 and HD04)

HD04 not ready in time so itll just be 3 diagrams now tomorrow with the diagram starting 6:27 from Manchester a unit.

HD06 is now stuck, terminated at Cardiff due to Marches signal failure between Hereford and Newport. So it's now stuck on Canton. HD01 may run down to Swansea as it's predicted to clear the line at 5pm. But that's a matter on if it does fix. If it doesn't then HD01 could just return to Crewe and they can swap diagrams.
EDIT - Signal Failure now expected to continue until 7pm, it's almost certain it'll return to Crewe

It seems it's turned around suddenly and the issue has cleared. Working down to Swansea. This will mess up tomorrow's diagrams due to two sets on Canton, supposing one from Manchester/Crewe will be a unit then HD06 will step back onto it's diagram.
If they both end up in Canton there'll be 3 sets there tonight, there's already a spare there today and tomorrow.
HD06 was planned to do the 06:27 from Manchester tomorrow

Seems as if that's what's happening, HD01 is now able to run all the way to Swansea due to the disruption clearing, so it'll join the other two on Canton.
HD01 will now swap at Cardiff and form 19:39 to Shrewsbury vice 197 then empties to Crewe to balance for the morning.

Yes! A very sensible swap to get all the diagrams out at the start tomorrow.
There's 4 sets available (plus a spare most days) through the next week again so it would have been a shame to start off with subs due to sets in the wrong place.
