Route Validty : Blackpool south to bath

[Southern Beau]

Hi there
Travelling from Blackpool South to Bath Spa next week.
I have an off peak return.
Is it possible to travel via Manchester?
Many thanks

Yes it’s allowed - this is a permitted route. Just be aware it may take an hour or so longer.

Yes.
Maps BK + BW at https://data.atoc.org/routeing-maps show a multitude of routes for “any permitted” tickets, including via Manchester.

Was thinking if the Avanti service from Preston to Wolverhampton/Birm is cancelled, it may be an option to go via man Pic?

Maps CU + AW allow Manchester, then through Hereford if you want.
Map RP via Oxford also valid, including via Manchester also.
These plus the BK + BW combination previously mentioned show all the permitted mapped routes.

Is it possible to even travel via London?

Look at the maps, per posts 3 & 5 above, but no.
