ToD on Elizabeth Line core TVMs?

I've seen conflicting reports on whether ToD is possible on Elizabeth Line core TVMs. I'm specifically interested in whether the machines at Bond Street offer it - Hanover Square entrance is fine. I'd assume they do but does anyone know for sure?

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen signs at Tottenham Court Road Elizabeth line stating very definitely that ticket on departure (ToD) is not available.
I assume Bond Street is the same.

Yes, similarly I found it was impossible to collect ToD bookings at the 'Elizabeth line' entrance to Liverpool Street. Nearly made me miss a train as the nearest ToD-capable TVMs are right at the other end of the station.

The ticket machines managed by London Underground do not enable ToD functions, so most zone 1 ticket machines of the Elizabeth Line would not do that; despite the machine is capable in doing so.
Also, they seem have rather limited NR destinations, even within Network Southeast area.

Besides the lack of connectivity to National Rail ticket issuing systems I take it they only hold tfl ticket stock which wouldn't be viewed too well in distant parts of the UK ?

I imagine it would cause nothing more than a second glance from most staff at best.

Yes - by the ticket machines in the main TCR station "booking hall" there's a sign saying that you can't collect NR tickets there, and suggesting a couple of central London mainline stations you could go to. Though they don't tell you the correct procedure to follow if you're starting an NR journey on the NR trains from that station there and then. Leaving aside TOD, what's the perspective on the normal rule that you can start an NR journey at a station where you can't buy the ticket you need without a ticket, and buy at the first opportunity? How would that be applied at one of the stations served by that NR service which is staffed only by TfL staff who might not know that rule? After all, the "no TOD here" sign seems to acknowledge that there are NR services at that station...

Crikey, what a bloody mess! Seems just as crazy as the whole faff with Merseyrail not doing ToD. Presumably they enable it on the machines they operate outside the core?!

Well, if you have booked tickets for collection you will have been asked to select a station to collect from to avoid this exact situation. You cannot (or should not be able to) select a station that doesn't have ToD facilities, so if you then try to collect at one that doesn't you have no excuses.

Some retailers automatically pre-populate the selection station with the origin of the journey. In my case, I was collecting an 'extension' ticket from Hayes & Harlington to Heathrow (cheaper than PAYG due to the imposition of peak fares all-day for journeys to/from/via Z1) and it simply didn't occur to me that I wouldn't be able to collect the ticket given I've successfully collected ToD bookings at other Elizabeth line TVMs.

If it could happen to me, I think it's fair to say it could happen to anyone.

GWR is allowing you to select Bond Street, I'm told.

I didn't mean a journey where you had already booked a ticket and needed to collect it; I meant if your journey (all on NR services) started from a ElizLine core station. If I wanted to travel from TCR to somewhere a long way from London, and wanted to get an appropriate point-to-point NR-style ticket, but found there was no way of getting an NR ticket at TCR (there being no ticket office and no machine selling other than "local" TfL tickets), would they let me through so as to start my journey so I could then buy my ticket at the earliest opportunity?
