Too many times I have had to book hotels in hotel (sometimes at ridiculous cost!) as the FA seems to think that all fans live within the vicinity of the M25.

I can see why booking a hotel inside a hotel could be quite expensive!

I think Lumo ran an extra after the FA trophy final for Gateshead fans to get home from Wembley.

That not really a footex though, is it, so much as an additional service.

No - but it was, apparently, well advertised to Heed fans via social media and email as being a train specially for them to get home.

I think Lumo ran an extra after the FA trophy final for Gateshead fans to get home from Wembley.

They are looking at running extras for the upcoming England game at Sid James Park.

They did indeed Rich, 2 down on Saturday and one back. Complete with Heed Army Express on the windows. They also done a special beer eith a local brewery too. Also the 12.15 off Kings Cross on Sunday, was the unofficial heed Army express.
They done something similar last year but a broken rail on the day, saw the return cancelled.

I see West Coast are operating a charter (1Z84) from M/Cr Piccadilly to Wembley Central on 25 May for the Cup final, presumably with premium dining but will it be for city or United. No sign of an LSL one yet.

If this is the one, and reckon it is, looks like it's intended to be just for Manchester City supporters.
