Does anyone know what is going on with the HML? Tonight

So I was looking at what trains were coming into Inverness tonight and noticed one cancelled in Aviemore and another cancelled in Perth, and the sleeper also left 30 minutes late heading via Aberdeen instead of the usual HML.
Does anyone know what has happened? There have been some engineer works in the past few days but I’m sure regular services would have been planned in advance to avoid these.

Just spent 3 minutes googling (Hemel Hempstead's) HML to discover it is also occasionally means Highland Mainline.

While true, mention of Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness and Aviemore might provide a hint that the discussion focused on an area somewhat further north. ;)

To be fair "With the" also rules out Hemel Hempstead.

If it had been Hemel Hempstead then presumably the thread title would have been "at HML" ;)

The number of times I click on threads based on the title to find that the subject matter is not as interesting is high though.
