Wasn't sure where else to post this, but apparently 91117 was taken out of Barrow Hill heading to Leicester for reactivation but thought it was stripped for 89001?
I believe there are precisely zero shared parts that aren't commonly available anyway. Otherwise it wouldn't have taken years and years to get the 89 running again after it originally failed in BR service and after it was resurrected by GNER until it broke again.

what hardware would a GEC electric (90/91) and a Brush electric (89, 92, Eurotunnel) have in common?
From Railways Illustrated (On behalf of PressReader) "91117 will be used to donate some components to aid the main line return of 89001" so perhaps stripping is a bit of an exaggeration.
