Autotrader and other apps valuing older vehicles

Autotrader will give a rough estimate what my nearly 15 year old Skoda is worth privately and part ex, as one of my 5-vehicle allowance. However, I have tried a friend's 20 year old 53-reg Polo and it won't recognise hers. I have also tried my old car which would've effectively turned 20 next month on an 04 plate. Motorway was the same. Why don't these sites/apps want to know about vehicles older than 15? They're not like a 15 old vehicle was 15 years ago. In fact, some say the late-00s was the pinnacle for cars: safe enough yet still relatively simple.

I've tried Motorway for a 10 year old vehcle, and they recommended a different company (sorry, can't remember which), which did provide a quote.

They will know the market and know what margin they will make. Presumably they don't think the margin is sufficient for the effort involved in punting the car on.
