Perfectly valid move so it of course doesn't matter at all, but very intrigued as to why we went one stop along?

As you saw in a later posting, we went to Airedale Hospital because of a sudden medical problem on these hypothetical journeys. I had a hypothetical sore leg and had trouble walking.... :'(
Love it ;)

Ignoring the one remaining service to Aberystwyth at 2306, as we will only end up returning back to Machynlleth and get stuck there for the night, we return in the morning for the 0558 Transport for Wales service 1I04 to Birmingham International, arriving there at 0850 on Thursday morning.

We might have opted to take a bus from Aberystwyth.

We next take the 09.13 CrossCountry service to Bournemouth alighting at Banbury at 09.58 on Thursday.

At first glance the station looks too far away from the centre of Cranbrook, but thankfully we are just within reach as we take the eleven minute/0.5 mile walk to St Martins Primary School, boarding the 1640 Stagecoach South West service 4 to Heavitree (Butts Road), arriving there at 1702 on Thursday afternoon.
