Yep, I was just looking at the wrong bridge, my bad lol. It is publicly accessible between the canal exit and the bridge itself, right? It looks like private land but I think I see a footpath.
Yes there is a footpath from the towpath.

Walk as far as Gallows Footbridge 57, next to it you will see this... i can't remember what they are called. There is a path between the fields that leads up to the railway footbridge. It can be a bit muddy after heavy rain though.

There's also a footbridge that goes over all four tracks of the Brighton line, just near Coulsdon Town station.

Hope Valley line. There are several footbridges walkable from all the stations (Edale, Hope, Bamford, Hathersage, Grindleford) ; best to take your own food & refreshments to most of them, as they can be a bit remote from shops / cafes, etc. . Check on line or get O.S. map for area.

Excellent, it's... Google CountrysideView!

The wicked part of me yearned to answer: "the thing on the left? That's called a tree".
:D

The stile, however, is in a far better shape than some of the relics I see my way...

Are the 2 south of Acton Bridge both accessible? I can see that the second one South is, but what about the first one just south of the station, are you sure that's not private land? I'm just looking off of Google maps and it looks like it's private on street view, but I may be looking at the wrong bit.
As 'Bertie the Bus' has confirmed, the first footbridge and path is a public right of way, as well used daily too. However, the second footbridge is the better of the two, more open and better views of the trains approaching too, just takes a little longer if walking to and from the station. A good location as you get the traffic to / from Liverpool and Warrington from the north as well as traffic to / from Crewe and Northwich from the south.

Also just south of Gatwick Airport platforms and midway between Gatwick and Horley, neither gets much foot traffic and you get to see planes as well; they pass quite low over the line when they are landing from the east.
