A tube map of the future?

I have recently started editing the tube map for fun. Here is my most recent version; please tell me what you think!
This is all money no object, by the way. I dread to think how much this would cost if it all went ahead!
I am new to this kind of thing and the software I’m using is not the best either, so please tell me if something genuinely is terrible. I won’t mind.

This looks good.

To me, this could be improved by not having the lines change side where/when two line colours are next to each other, as the TfL map has it consist throughout.

I wonder if any of the lines shown that do not exist will ever come to existence?

Thanks! I imagine the Charing Cross branch of the northern line will one day become its own line, though I doubt it will be called the Pankhurst line. Probably after some other royal if we’re unlucky.

There‘s never been any likelihood of CR2 going as far as Guildford, so it probably doesn’t matter.

I'm a little confused. Is the Waterloo & City to be extended from Edgware Road to Orpington / Biggin Hill on your map? Couldn't quite differentiate between the colours.

Well, this is embarrassing! I actually thought that that was how to spell Guildford!

There is a road near Russell Square tube station called "Guilford Street", so you might have got it from there.

Also, Queensbury - Canons Park - Camrose Avenue - Edgware? That would be the wiggliest line ever built, and I'm not sure why you think this is a good idea.

The topography around Sutton is not right. The junction to West Sutton, Wimbledon etc is to the west of the station, not to the east. This matters because there is a service that runs through Wimbledon -> West Sutton -> Sutton -> Carshalton Beeches -> West Croydon etc, and it does not reverse at Sutton. Also the line Sutton -> Carshalton -> Mitcham Jcn is a long way to the east of Sutton High Street; I realise the map is mainly to show connectivity, but to imply that this main line carves right through the shopping centre of Sutton is stretching it a bit ! I have done a re-work of that area below :

Sorry about that. It’s not very geographically accurate, since it’s so complicated. I also wanted to show that trains ran to Sutton via Wimbledon/Mitcham Junction, instead of running round the whole Sutton Loop. Done a similar thing with Hainault.
If you’ve noticed, I’ve also shown the the stations between Liverpool Street and Hackney Downs as being west of Shoreditch High Street, because when I had them in the right place that entire area looked like a mess.

Congratulations. A very good first draft. As others have pointed out there is quite a bit of fine tuning to do. Good to see a bit more recognition for South London.
