Sad news, although the line was a bit of an odd one for a Pacer being an ex-colliery line.

The Foxfield Railway has requested that The 142055 Group needs to find an alternative site to base Ex-Northern Class 142 No. 142055.

The group says that a number of enquiries have been made with other heritage sites, but no agreements have yet been made.

In does but I don’t think it’s been used in service, it arrived in September 2020 and had been receiving some attention to clean it up, was planned to be in service but has suffered significant vandalism:

The article doesn't state the reason for the Foxfield railway wishing to see the back of the Pacer (and the group restoring it?). Did things go sour behind the scenes?

I have absolutely no knowledge of the situation here, but in fairness to Foxfield, a pacer doesn't fit into the rest of their collection as an ex-colliery line running industrial locomotives and mainly vintage stock. I know they have some mk1 coaches but the average visitor won't see those as massively out of place. A pacer is a big leap from that, even if they are proving useful on other lines.
