Can I just check this again, sorry. If so open floor.
If not, pardon my stupidity.

EDIT: Well, the third time I posted it... :D That'll teach me to make late edits...

Correct; it's a pretty useless station in my opinion. It can only take 3/4 20m cars compared to 6/7 (20m) at Droitwich Spa and about 7/8 (20m) at Kidderminster. The SDO on the new 172s will help as eventually, there are supposed to be 4,5,6 or even possibly 9 car workings at peak times.

Well done :)

ATW station

One platform

If you buy an anytime day return from this station to (say) Cardiff you cannot actually arrive back the same day

If you buy an off peak return you can

TransPennine Express North Station.
This station has 3 platforms
This station can terminate trains, but also has at least 1 train per hour (per direction) that continues through.
To the west of this station (rough direction), there is a junction between one line that is nearly exclusively served by TPX, and one line that is nearly exclusively served by Northern.

Right, I'm thinking of a station north of Manchester that sounds more like somewhere south of Manchester; it's Pacers galore here and sub-100,000 passengers per year.

Where am I?

this staiton is on the Liverpool to Manchester line, and has two platforms
This station, like the next 2 stations in differrent directions, is either on a junction, or is the closest station to a junction (currently or historically) (note that this might be misinterpreted, but i dont know how to phrase it better without making it blatantly obvious.

I am on the Tyne & Wear Metro. I have two platforms which are staggered but originally were not. In BR days another station on a branch line was very close. I have at least one gas holder next door. To cross the platforms you may use a subway or you may cross the tracks (legally). Where am I?

It's not that nice. The immidiate area, yes, the town, no, just no. One of the worst in England.

I should know - it's about a mile and a half ATCF from where I live.
