Switching between PAYG and physical ticket at Swanley.

Just a quick question, where are the Oyster/contactless readers at Swanley, is there enough time to tap in/out and switch between PAYG and a ticket without having to step back a train?

No. The readers are up a flight of stairs. Might just be possible if there are many people boarding and you are in exactly the right position.

Okay, thank you. My journey is from Croydon to Otford. I may just get a 119 to Bromley South and use a paper ticket from there…..I know Otford is meant to be included in phase one of Project Oval but that won’t be implemented in time.
