How did 08 647 acquire its name Nimrod

I've seen a photo online of Class 08 shunter 08 647 standing at Birmingham New Street sporting the name NIMROD, and also its old number D3814. Does anyone know how/why this name was acquired?

I think someone at Tyseley was into vintage warbirds. Wasn't there also a Phantom ?

I didn't previously know that there was an 08 of this name, but the thought crosses my mind that the original biblical Nimrod was a hunter, and an 08 is a sHUNTER.

Maybe slightly ironic humour, such as when an owner of a small happy dog calls it Atlas?

Clanking around sidings at walking pace doesn't immediately seem Nimrod-esque.

The Wikipedia page on class 08 mentions 08641/3/4/5/8/9 but not 08640/2/6/7.

The Wikipedia page only lists the surviving members of the class.
