Just seems wild to me that the end of the Vic is less than 2 miles away from the Central Line yet there's no interchange except for Oxford Circus.

If you're at Blackhorse Road and want to get to Stratford you can either make an above ground connection from the Overground at Leytonstone HR - Leytonstone or Wanstead Park - Forest Gate. Or if the Vic was extended a mile and a half there could be an easy in station connection at Leytonstone.

I'm not a local but north south journeys in East London just seem a bit of a pain. Could be an argument for a Lewisham-Woolwich-North Greenwich-LCY-Upton Park-Forest Gate-Leytonstone-Walthamstow line, or from LCY following the North Circular to Redbridge?
Tbh Blackhorse Rd to Stratford as an example isn't a terrible journey.

You can go 2 mins one stop to Tottenham Hale and change there for a GA service taking 10 mins to Stratford, depending on timing.

Or you could do 10 mins on the Victoria to Highbury and Islington and change for the Overground there, taking 25 mins in total.

As for your London Orbital idea, it isn't a terrible idea. Mostly the function is already performed by the Overground, but East London Transit (the "bus rapid transit" in Barking + Dagenham, Redbridge and Havering) could be upgraded to a tram as originally planned to provide links in an area with poor transport.

This is where Superloop should come in, but the execution seem terrible. It manages to cross the Epping line near South Woodford and the Tottenham Hale line near Meridian Water with no interchange. A Superloop through Tottenham Hale, Whipps Cross Hospital and Leytonstone Tube is needed to do the job that the Goblin fails to do.

Extend a second branch of CR2 from High Wycombe, through Marylebone/ Baker Street (connected underground by travelators), to Euston St Pancras and then south to TCR.

I haven't used the Tube for years, but my recollection is that the lines cannot be easily extended wthout creating overcrowding in the centre. So my thoughts are either some outer circle lines to disperse some of the passengers, or some doubling up of lines / station by-passes to create additional capacity. If you can do that, then extend lines into the southern commuter belt to simplify journeys for passengers - i.e. faster journeys due to not having to change trains and wait for connections.

Extend Elizabeth Line to Paris via a second channel tunnel with a line speed of 400 MPH from Abbey Wood onwards.

Having completed the Circle Line pub crawl a couple of decades ago, my LU fantasy now is to have the stamina to complete the Waterloo & City line pub crawl without falling asleep in between.

Nah, extend existing Crossrail to High Wycombe up the new North Main Line from Old Oak Common through Northolt and Greenford. Quadruple Ruislip to High Wycombe to segregate services. There's a fair amount of scope to send them this way without increasing core frequency, because of the number of Paddington turnbacks.

Will that be the Braverman Line from Abbey Wood International, or Maidenhead International , etc ...?

That sound like a small 'rebadging' and change of use from HS2 to CR2. Is that fantasy?

Join up Oakwood on the Picc to Totteridge and Whetstone in the northern with a bridge/tunnel moving walkway connecting with Oakleigh Park on the ECML. Saves going into London and back out.
I know this is a fantasy thread but if anyone is going into London and back out for this journey then they have wasted their time on a monumental scale. I do agree that there are lots of journeys where travelling into London and back out is quicker but this certainly isn't one of them! Out of interest and as it happens, I was in the area yesterday and doing this exact journey (although Oakwood was my final destination). The traffic was so bad, for sure, but I just took the 34 to Arnos Grove and Picc two stops to Oakwood. 125s along to Southgate were stuck in abysmal traffic all throughout North Finchley so this was the best option for me.

My thoughts are similar. We could do with some outer circular routes in the zones 4-5 area to help with the travelling into London and back out issue.

The May Line if it's from Maidenhead!

My fantasy suggestion would work as follows:

1) Convert the Central Line platforms at Ealing Broadway into District Line platforms, and vice versa
2)Build out the end of the new Central Line platforms and follow the main line to West Ealing
3) Take over the Greenford branch
4) Convert the 230s in Reading back into D78s (obviously they will have to be convertible versions, for the Deep Tube), and get more of the same stock for good measure

Could something be imagined- that is fantasy... to her misfortune. Was it a central line?

Howevber, the Boris Line? A circuitous line from Henley via City hall to Uxbridge (terminus?)

Open top? :D
Well, with the roof put up outside tunnels if it's raining :D

Yes, it would go Henley-(U-turn, U-turn)-City Hall-(U-turn, U-turn, U-turn)-City Hall-(U-turn)-Uxbridge-(U-turn)-Uxbridge-(U-turn)-Downing Street-(38 more U-turns)-Fleet Street. Preferably on a big Union Jack land-train-style choo-choo with a lie written on the side ;)

Sounds easier/ faster. What would you do with CML/ Central line services?

Well, there is sufficient room for segregated Central Line tracks on this section, in addition to 2 tracks of XR.
The CML services would be segregated by re - quadrupling the CML at least from Ruislip to HW and giving 2 to XR (which would replace the HW/Gerrards Cross terminators).
