I haven’t yet, from previous experience it will likely be around 3-6 weeks before we hear anything. They’ve no doubt got hundreds if not thousands to get through! Although that doesn’t stop me checking my emails every 10 minutes

Ahhh right, tbh last time I looked was Friday and someone I spoke to today said they submitted their video today.

Definitely not rewatched it, I know how bad it was so don't want to put myself through the misery

There’s a difference between asking for a broad idea of how the interview goes (perfectly acceptable) and asking for specific questions, which WOULD be an unfair advantage. People can scroll the forums to do their own research. Generally speaking we can emphasise the need to be safety conscious but if the person has applied for a different post with a different TOC I’m not sure what value specific questions would add anyway. That said, good luck!

I haven't yet

I'm guessing (unless others have already heard), that we'll have a bit of a wait due to applicant volume. I'm sure the driver managers will also be busy due to industrial action.

I've seen posts in other forums saying how long the process can take, so I'm trying to assure myself that this is normal. I can't help but check the website daily to see if my application status changes!

Not a thing mate. Easier said than done but try not check constantly. It will then be a nice surprise when something does happen.
In the meantime apply for any other TOCs that advertise near you.

For none freight, I think Northern are the only other TOC within reasonable distance as they have a depot at Sheffield. They recruited for this depot last year, but I didn't apply as I wanted to hold out for LNER. I hope I don't live to regret that!

Hey, I had a DMI for this job last week on Thursday, unfortunately I wasn’t successful

I’m aware that DTM interviews have concluded at the moment with those successful having completed or due to complete psychometrics. There’s a course starting in January so they’re wanting to fill that course but then further interviews will be undertaken for other courses after that.

How did you find this out? I was offered an interview a couple of weeks ago but was working away at the time and couldn’t make the dates as it was very short notice, I guess if this is true there’s still hope they might get back to me for future courses, fingers crossed.

Ah good to hear from you, did you find it ok? It seemed pretty straight forward but like I said there’s so many folk applying for so little places so even if you think you did well it’s still so hard to judge if it was enough!! Really hope you hear something positive soon mate!!

Thank you mate you too! Aye but it’s always difficult to tell with interviews there were some things I thought about in the car and I kicked my self saying why didn’t I say that! But I guess that’s part of the post interview nerves!!

Exactly that, I was sat on the platform at York station afterwards and everything I should’ve said just came straight back to me!!!!!
