I think there is tbh, the driver manager said that there were so many applicants being interviewed (not just for Euston) and the reality is that not all of them are on this forum.

The two week wait is what I don’t agree with. It’s coming up to 3 weeks for some applicants and making them wait even longer for their results doesn’t help with the nerves. Think I’ve checked my emails more times these past two weeks than I’ve ever done in my lifetime haha

That's usually true. In the past I failed two DMI interviews. For one of them I found put the same day just before 5pm and the other I got the bad news the next day early morning.

Had my email, reference DMI, unsuccessful!!! Can't say I'm not gutted, to pass every test and then fall at the final hurdle... Good luck to everyone else

I'm in tomorrow for stage 1 in Glasgow as well. I've passed all my psychometric testing before and they said I might only have to sit certain parts. Is stage 1 just the paper testing? Do u happen to know the stages there after as I passed mines with scotrail 4 and a bit years ago doing paper tests on day one, DMI second day then computer tests and final interview with the 5 qs.

Any help much appreciated.

Well butterflies aside I quite enjoyed the stage 1 today it was good to finally get sat down and get on with it, completely out of the norm for me the last form of assesment Ive partaken must have been 20 years ago now.
I decided to try and play it safe and minimise any errors so managed line 10-11 on the bourdon I think which during my practices wouldve been a high score and got to question 36 on the dials. So time will tell if that was the correct tactic.
Best of luck to those in the rest of the week up here and theres a nice wee tim hortons just up the road from the hotel if like me you feel the urge for a nice wee doughnut after!

Hi got an email in April saying I would be going the 1st stage of the test centre! Still have no date, I'm a Liverpool applicant, are others in the same boat thanks

Good afternoon all! Attended the stage 1 assessment in Glasgow yesterday which I think went fairly well! Time will tell I guess.
Jumping ahead to stage two in regards to the DMI and situational experience part of the interview. The practice material suggests you write down a description of the situations in advance. Is this done on the day or can you pre prepare this document?

Hey good luck, I would suggest focus on stage 2 first before going to dmi. For the cbi, focus on real life examples that will help you. Don't be nervous, huge thing this.

Appolagies, I meant the cbi which of course is the next focus should I hopefully have been successful in yesterday’s tests.
