Royal Mail lost my response letter

Hi , I have an issue i sent my response letter to southeastern prosecution, using 1st class signed for but it is now lost , it said I had seven days to respond it’s been longer than that now, what do I do, is there any way to contact them to let them know and send another letter?

I would also ensure that you mention that you did reply originally within the time scale given and provide a copy of the tracking number to demonstrate this.

In 2023 letters should be word processed

Well, it's a bit late now but there's a lesson to be learned here - save a copy of any communications you send!

Presumably a copy was saved electronically though, albeit not with your signature?
