A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We take the eight minute walk to the railway station and board the 1101 Southern service 2A25 to Godshill, arriving there at 1122 on Thursday morning.
That must be a very new service with the train using a ferry to the Isle of Wight, but from there I wonder how they have managed to relay all the trackwork and signalling required and have the station fully reinstated.

Godshill station was opened in 1897 by the Newport, Godshill and St Lawrence Railway and was closed in 1952.

Oops, silly me! It was Godstone! Apologies.

In my defence, they both begin with God :D
