I’m not sure any are at Soho yet? Someone can correct me but I think Oxley/Bletchley are more likely locations for any at the moment.

There are two there I think usually nearest the shed
There has usually been 3-4 units there for several months
Fair enough, must have missed them when I went by last month. Admittedly my view out the window wasn’t great!

AFAIK 730045 was outside Derby Litchurch Lane last week.

According to Todays Railways they’re all built with 30-33 and44-48 still at Derby.
They give locations for all 48 as of late July with 3 Oxley.4 Soho, 7 Bletchley, 6 Crewe, 8 Doncaster, 2 Loughborough, 4 Wembley and 5 Euston Camden sidings.
More in London than Birmingham!

Hasn't the /2 subclass been dropped?
The /1 subclass has been dropped according to Modern Railways. 730101-103 will be modified to the /2 spec and reclassified as such.

That's interesting, probably explains why nothing has been delivered for a while then!
Thats odd because the latest issue of Rail Express says the /2 subclass has been abandoned and all 5 car units will be 730/1.
And Todays Railways says the/2 series!
I guess its just a case of wait and see what happens. Given few /1s have been built it would not surprise me if the /1 subclass has been dropped.
Not sure it matters though because I think only difference between /1 and /2 was the seating, but now all 730s are going to have 2+2 seating.

Which unit was this then - presumably 730102? Confusing me more as I don't have a record of it having gone back to Old Dalby since 2022 - does anybody know when this went back there please?
