With another 180 having apparently caught fire (I can't find the thread or I'd link it here) GC are going to be even tighter on stock than before, and the service is going to be seriously disrupted with the timetable on sale being more than a little bit dishonest, as there's no way they're going to be able to run it all unless they perhaps reduced to a single round trip per day, would it be better, do we think, if they just withdrew service temporarily, refunded all tickets and concentrated on getting 221s into service before restarting?
That would seem to make sense to me. At the moment they're selling trains they have no hope of running, and I don't think that's an appropriate business practice.
