Hunting of foxes with dogs was outlawed by the Hunting Act 2004, which came into force on 18th February 2005.
The hunting group mentioned earlier was probably practising trail hunting, which involves laying a scent (of a deer or fox) accross the countryside, which the dogs then follow with their noses. Since no animals are harmed in this activity, it can not be described as "barbaric", and it is legal under current legislation.
And right on cue, here is another story from below the tip of the de-banking iceberg that was uncovered by Nigel Farage.
Shooting is a lawful activity, and yet one person in the article below had all his accounts closed after 20 years after the bank discovered he was involved in shooting.
It cannot be right that banks and financial institutions make this kind of moral judgement on what people can and cannot do, The place for such conversations is in parliament.
My bad regarding fox hunting; I wasn’t aware that it was banned completely and that this was something different.
