In all honesty, after platform extensions and ETCS/ERTMS, there's not much you can do, apart from building new extremely expensive infrastructure to reroute freight.
Indeed. Now if you could demolish the buildings between Camden road and the line swinging north to get 4-track and a few more parallel moves that'd be very handy...

the problem seems to be more Gospel Oak to Willesden Junction in regards to capacity because you have freight on both the GOBLIN and towards KTW?)

Most (but not all) freight on the NLL to/from Stratford goes via Primrose Hill.

I should imagine any freight heading in the Acton Wells direction would have to go through Gospel Oak though as due to the track alignment its impossible to cross the WCML?

Yes, freight from Stratford to Acton Wells via Camden does usually go via Gospel Oak, although it is not impossible to go via Primrose Hill and cross the WCML - that is often done when the line via Gospel Oak is closed for maintenance or other reasons. However, a fair bit of freight from the Stratford area to Acton Wells goes via South Tottenham and Upper Holloway.

To be fair, it's only a couple houses and a dentist practise in the way.... and you could stick the dentists under the new arches (restrains self from reaching Crayola packet).
