Just wondering if that is a sighting, or from noticing 5 cars on RTT (or elsewhere), as it is shown as being an HST with 5 coaches. The ECS ran from Neville Hill, rather than Crofton, which would suggest it is indeed an HST.
According to what source? The data feeds suggest it was worked throughout by 43301+304 and a shortened rake.
It was a HST with only 5 coaches on.

With coaches G, F, F, 4, and B. Anyone know if it actually ran with 5 coaches or was RTT fed some incorrect data? The fact it supposedly had coach "4" has me earring towards the latter...
It did indeed run with 5 coaches but I believe on Sunday it ran back down to Plymouth on 1V60 and is now in Laira and the two missing coaches are still up at Neville Hill.
Having travelled aboard, the formation was 43301 B C E F G 43304, I believe it was already missing coach D from the days before and coach A was taken out at Neville Hill on Friday night/Saturday morning.
Was just about to post the same, it is just the First Class coach at Neville Hill.
I've just spotted that, how on earth did they manage to produce an HST at Gloucester to deputise for the Voyager which was terminated at Bristol and not booked to call at Gloucester anyway?

By utilising the set that worked 1V44 06:12 Leeds - Plymouth as far as Cheltenham (Ah, just beaten to it!).
I assume the HST operated Leeds Plymouth (1V44) was diverted into Gloucester and terminated there to form that train back north.

Not according to CrossCountry's JourneyCheck page which means they can afford to run more than 2 diagrams.
Nothing has been messaged out to update the information, not surprising given the disruption, so JourneyCheck isn't correct in this case. As I'm sure the short formed HST sets highlights running more than 2 diagrams would not be a good idea.
1S51 arrived late in Leeds, around the same time as my also-delayed alternative from Sheffield. It wasn't an HST set, so I'd go with it being the 4-car Voyager that RTT had listed (which was why I took the semi-fast instead).

You will have been sat in a standard class coach standing in for a First Class coach currently in XC05, the next coach down was Coach B which is almost entirely First Class.
