spotted 15681 heading dead out of Galgate toward the motorway.

About half 4 was it...? Was heading back to Catterall yard with me driving. Usual for a Scania to do this every Saturday with one of the Garstang OS drivers as it positions it for one of the first 40's on Monday morning heading back towards Morecambe. The other is the 1730 off Morecambe which terminates at Catterall Brockholes Arms at around 1838. 2 Volvo Olys stay put over the weekend for the 940/941 school contracts, just can't remember which 2 we had!

You don't have to read it, It's for people who are intrested like a couple of the Lillyhall based member's on here. Jesus Wept.

We don't post every last allocation for Morecambe or Kendal, only when stuff is unusual.

If you really want to post every last allocation, go start your own thread "07andrew's list of every allocation, every day, at Lillyhall"

In case you'd missed it, the title of this thread is "Stagecoach NW Fleet Changes"
Nothing about daily allocations in it....

While I agree that his postings about Lillyhall are over the top and the majority of stuff that Andrew posts is every day workings I would not want Andrew to be discouraged from posting stuff that is more "un-usual". The title of this thread might be about fleet changes but nearly all of the regular posters post allocations on a daily basis, and a lot of the time they are not so rare! So I don't see how it is fair to flag this poster up for doing what many others do and not flag them up!

Exactly you have a good point. I was only writing the allocations for members from Lillyhall and Carlisle based area's.

I see what you did there

Whilst I'm not against posting of some allocations, and I agree most members do it - I do object to the excessive nature of said posts. Sorry if I could have made that clearer.

Thought we'd sussed the problem last time it came up!

Also saver tickets are going up in the Lancaster and Morecambe area from today. Can't remember by how much but the Lancashire rider is going up to 6.50.

Yes, myself, Ross, cainebj and DallamLad will be going.
Gez.SCNW will be there running the thing and I'm sure Paul Mcgill will be around as well.

Andrew; it's OK, just learn from your mistakes!

Should be going my self, although its a round the world tour of bus rides! First 104 to Penrith, then the 106/107 to Kendal, 555 to Lancaster and then a 42 to Morecambe. The joys of the Explorer!!

I would love to go, deep down I can still go but it's looking unlikely.
I would probaly go on the train.

My route
Harrington - Barrow.
Barrow - Morecambe.

£4.30 for bayrider daily from £4.10
£13.00 for bayrider weekly from £12.50

Others have also changed, of note you can no longer buy a 4 day explorer, its been replaced by a new 3 day one. Makes more sense for people coming to the lakes/Lancashire for a long weekend over the bank holidays etc.

Many of the vehicles used on shuttles or VOR yesterday had new prices added, with all the old style orange rectangle adverts removed in place of the newer "Manchester" style ones. The person doing it was under instruction to treat all vehicles, so some B10Ms/Olympians which didn't carry the old style adverts in the first place have had them applied (including the B10Bs).
15681, which on this Saturday duty I keep all day, got its new prices applied while being fed, cleaned and watered during my lunch break.
See if you can spot tomorrow morning the ones that have slipped through - should be at least 2 Olympians which have spent the weekend at Garstang and 1 B10M which I think lives at Ingleton for the weekend. These will possibly be treated when they return to the yard mid morning for fueling and cleaning.

Good luck on that non-existent 42 to Morecambe....! Possibly better on either a 40/41 and jumping off at the scrimp or if you time it right, a 6A (only hourly) and jumping off at Morecambe Metals.
Think there is a shuttle being laid on from Lancaster, one from Morecambe and a P&R I think is being arranged from the Globe Arena for those travelling by car. Sure Gez will have more details.
Depending what i'm working i'll either be there all day or popping back around either 11.20 or 12.40 depending if im working a Garstang duty, for my meal break.

I'm going to try, although its birthday that weekend too
Not saying no though, will see how my days pan out!

Which depots have you been to for an open day? I've only been to Lillyhall and Carlisle for an open day.
Earlier, I was told that 47022 required an M.O.T, and that Carlisle might reject the deal.

Reject what exactly? It's too late for 33161 to come back now and I doubt if 34079 will ever be on the road long enough to move over to Carlisle in exchange for the Solo. Carlisle have been spending a lot of time on 47022 and will hopefully be out shortly. It is currently parked next to the paintshops with NIS showing on the front blind.

Yes I think a 40/41 might be a bit more suitable come to think of it! No idea why I said 42! Good job you brought it up or I might just have ended up in Blackpool If I had not thought ahead on the day!!!

Rejecting 47022 I said that they might reject it I was told by a member.

How comes the stuff that leaves Preston are always stink of dogs arse? E.g
47005/6/7 were as good as knackered when they came to Lillyhall.

Plus, Lillyhall decided to re-trim 47005 but not 47006 and 47007.

47022 came to Willowholme knackered. Like stuff always do come knackered from Preston.

Unfortunately none  Might change that this year ;)

Carlisle 2010 - was on my 18th birthday and had a family get-together that day.
Morecambe 2009 - remember that I had a Maths AS-Level exam on that day!! (23rd May rings a bell...).
Barrow 2008 - I'm sure I was in Majorca

This year its a day before my birthday (well Saturday 28th is...)

Hate to say it but 47022 was at ME a lot longer then it was at Preston. Didn't spend long in Preston at all. That said it could have been in good condition when it left ME. Also worth pointing out again that it is a 51 plate so it's bound to be tired.

However just thinking about it didn't 47022 come to ME from down Preston way...?

When 52405 arrived back at Carlisle from Preston it spent about a fortnight on the pits!
