Your suggestions for interesting short-hop journeys

What do we think are the most interesting single station journeys? I would like shorter ones please not like Euston to Warrington and that kind of thing. Nice short but interesting ones, either railway or scenery interest. Thanks.

My personal pick is Euston to Harrow & Wealdstone.

I'll go for Arnside to Grange-over-Sands.

Only three and a quarter miles. But incredibly scenic, and includes the iconic 50 span viaduct across the River Kent

Does this count as a single station hop? There's now an intermediate station call at Reston on a fair few trains each day.

Blackfriars to London Bridge gives you a view of lots of central London
