I've been to or through Ayr probably more often than any other station in Scotland due to frequent rail journeys to Northern Ireland. Getting all these NIR shots I'm now forced to use because of nothing else being left has obviously been more useful than I thought!

Hunslet loco 101 worked its last ever passenger train the day after I took this shot. 102 was on the adjacent road on an engineers' working. 103 was already withdrawn by this date, so that's the whole class there. How lucky was I to get this shot?
