You don't suppose London Midland will be on to them regarding their use of "GR8 ESCAPE" do you? Is there enough difference between "GR8" and "GREAT"?

Still, good of the GCR to do this. If every heritage railway (that is physically able to) did this the GWSR would be back in business in no time.

Can't read the bloody thing because the "fares" bit is floating right in the way! :(

Great to hear that the GCR is doing that.

As i believe both railways were extremely helpful to us on the SVR. I certainly hope we can also help out the GWSR as well.

Its a good thing but I think a lot more people will be at the EVR for the grand re-opening of the line Between Duffield and Wickersworth if they would have had it on a different day / weekend it would have been a lot better still I hope they do well as I have been up to half of the GWR and seemed a nice Railway.

Dunno really - we've had a lot of enquiries about it - sufficient numbers for us to have booked an extra field at Quorn for parking. Seems to be quite popular potentially!

Do hope it goes well then and they have another one or other Heritage Railways have similar Events to raise funds for the GWR.
