Just wondering when the weekend engineering work on the GEML London to Shenfield will finish.

Never is one answer. But the current run between Liverpool St and Shenfield finishes on Sunday 12 March 2023. Colchester line passengers aren’t so lucky, their bus service simply moves from Newbury Park to Billericay.

If you are specifically referring to freight services to/from Ipswich and Felixstowe,
they are all diverted via Ely on Saturdays until April 15th.

Engineering blocks on the GEML as stated today & between Ely & Cambridge. You can add to that both RMT & ASLEF industrial action so it’s not the most pleasant of days to travel.
