Wow, just wow. Tbh I would like to know some background to this like why on earth the cab door was unlocked and how no staff turned up(at least within the video). As a teenager if I was in the situation I may have taken a peek through the door but never actually ventured into the cab.
No, I am a foreigner so I don't know what I should do. I saw that the video was uploaded more than 6 hours ago. Maybe someone has already done something about it?
I can't understand why teenagers nowadays love to record their illegal activities and upload the videos to the internet....
This is the kind of moronic **** teenagers do, I can't say I'm terribly distressed by it
Perhaps a case for locking out more controls though if desk isn't active? Is there a convincing safety case for the horn always (apparently) being operable?

Unfortunately, some of those morons in the videos are quite notorious for these actions. Their TikTok pages are known for going into unauthorised areas (within shops etc.) and being overall idiots. It's a shame as it puts a bad name to the majority of teenagers/young people using public transport in a proper manner.
While I expect that being confrontational probably wouldn't have got anywhere and more likely ended up with a bunch of silly insults, it wouldn't be concerning.
It absolutely needs reporting but probably not so much for the t(w)eenagers to have anything done to them (massive waste of time if anything even did happen) but so that more malevolent actors can't do far worse things.
I would take a punch if I knew that was the worst of what I was going to get. But it only takes one idiot to have something sharp and things can get nasty indeed.

It only takes one idiot pumped full of testosterone (which can happen at exactly that age) and you're into quite a physical encounter. I'm reasonably confident I could handle myself even up to 3 or 4 of them if it's only hands, but as I say it only takes 1 person to have a sharp object and then things get nasty and fast.

BTP have been tagged in a reposting of it on Twitter, so I expect they will get a knock on the door soon enough as faces are easily recognisable.
But this just highlights further that T keys are not secure enough and direly need replacing (on the video, the emegency exit break glass on the cab door appears undamaged, so unless it wasn't locked properly...)

They are clearly teenagers, so just use that term. The term "tweenages" is best avoided because it's meaningless and has multiple meanings to different people; the generally accepted meaning is 10 to 14, but some claim it means 8 to 12. There is no formal definition of this slang word; some of them are clearly likely to be over the age of 14, including the main 'ringleaders', so not "tweenagers" by any of the various definitions out there.
Even if someone was ostensibly banned from TikTok (how bad would you have to be to get banned from there? I dread to think!) they would just create additional accounts ; TikTok benefits from videos such as this and has no interest in removing such content.

The amount of anti social behaviour on public transport and in general is insane. As a teenager I am ashamed of what a reputaion some teenagers give us as a whole.
I'd not intervene on this because bar mucking about with the horn they can't do a lot without the driver's key, which they won't have, and there is the risk of being stabbed. Reporting it to staff, either on the spot if present or 61016 if not, is the best plan in this sort of case. They are clearly kids, not terrorists.
999 would be valid, but probably fairly pointless as they'll have run off before a response car arrived, so it is more about finding out who they are and sending someone round for a chat without, as they say, tea and biscuits.
Have you seen their other videos? If so, I am very surprised you have come to that conclusion.

As I mentioned, I wouldn't be intervening because of the risk of a knife. I'm a reasonably big bloke who plays rugby so would be comfortable if it was only hands. But a knife I'm unlikely to be able to evade against a teenager, they'll be far more agile than me.

It’s terrible that that even needs to be a consideration - it just wouldn’t have been in the same way fifteen or twenty years ago - but there is a certain demographic who seem to regard life (including their own) as very cheap. We seem to be getting more and more like America in terms of postcode gangs etc. but without the stiff prison sentences!

Nothing matters apart from views and likes any more. I see this at school routinely with people recording violent fights where people get seriously hurt and racing to be the first to post them on tik tok and instagram.
What would concern me more is how easily they could have gained entry to that type of units cab at a platform whilst the driver was in it. Vandalism aside there's not much they can do without the drivers key, but with the driver in situ it could be a lot worse.

How often does such an incident occur at your school? If all this evidence is put online, surely the culprits are not able to continue to act in this way? Or is there a seemingly limitless supply of people who behave this way?

I came on here to say this. 'Mizzy' goes into the backs of shops, takeaways etc to provoke a reaction - part of his 'free roam' series to show teenagers that 'the world is a simulation'. It's always the easy places though - I know that some places (including a well known department store where I used to work) have security monitoring far more extensively than the shops Mizzy picks on, and if he tried a similar stunt there, I have no doubt they would detain him and hold them until police arrived (indeed, there was a holding room in the basement of the staff area for shoplifters).

Quite. I wouldn't dare risk it - not only do they have 'backup', as you say the risk of being stabbed is not worth it. I would likely go and discreetly report that to station staff but if I thought I'd be spotted then texting is the right course of action.
There are more comments on this one than usual videos that this is a step too far, which is interesting. I think given the extent of these videos Mizzy puts up, the BTP will have absolutely no trouble identifying him via this video.
There was similar a while ago where someone entered a tube cab. Transport for London commented on it on TikTok so attention very much was drawn. I can't remember the account handle now unfortunately.

Yes. Many do this on TikTok. Strange isn't it... Often it eventually catches up with them (one particular individual I remember used to record himself committing fraud (to very high values) and he thought he was being clever, but IIRC it became the focus of a journalist's investigation, who managed to identify this individual and the police took it from there. All because he wasn't smart enough to not just keep his illegal activity to himself...
Years ago, I was a passenger on a Class 156 on which a notorious local "problem child" was making his weekly journey to his special school for problem children. During the journey he got up to use the toilet at the back of the unit to find the door locked (because somebody else was inside). Foolishly, another passenger told him that there was a switch in the cab that released the toilet door. Without a pause, he entered the back cab and started flicking switches randomly, causing the lights in the saloon to go out for a moment.
You don't need to 'have' it; if you just follow the link, you'll see all sorts of dodgy videos. You may want to change your mind on how dangerous you think these individuals might be!
