Maybe if ECB get expanded resources later on down the line this could end up being an option! if they got an additional garage or shared with Marine, but guess we’ll see, if the last journeys for those routes terminated at Fort Kinnaird that would make getting back to Marine easier also.
Curtailing to Hermiston Gait could save a bus but it would make turnaround times very tight (3-4mins at each end). Perhaps usage is low between Hermiston and the Gyle.
Especully if a bus is delayed too, again it is a shame this is cutting a link and cutting Gorgie a direct service to the Gyle, but at least Hermiston still has the 36 and the Tram, I only hope that also won’t be cut back to Hermiston also.

It probably won’t be cut, but not because it’s the only direct route from Ocean Terminal to the Gyle, more because of the links from places in between towards the Gyle that it offers.

Surely the 47B stays, but does the revised route to Cammo? After all it is just a peak time renumbering of the 47 (serving Bush) rather than say an actual extra service alongside the 47. If the 47B is running, the 47 isn’t, and vice versa. Of course that only applies to the direction of travel it’s running in during both peaks.

Lothian's operations look massively down when compared with their pre-Covid peak. Anyone have any ideas as to how much the overall PVR has dropped and by how much the fleet has dropped in recent years?

From the site sent by @FlybeDash8Q400 above, I have found that the N30 will continue going to Newcraighall. (Remember that these VOSA's aren't 100% accurate, this is the most we have at the moment.)
Does the effective date on the registrations have to be when the service is actually changed, or just the first date when it can be?
IIRC the changes for Leith Walk reopening were registered for a while before it ended up happening. I could see them being registered for 28/05 but only actually happening in line with the tram launch.

In this case they will need to be implemented on 28th May. In Leith Walk’s case that was that the diversion was still in place, but the legal process of changing the routes back had been carried out prior to it reopening. The timetables for what we have now down Leith Walk would’ve been changed on that date, but the diversions remained in place until it reopened.

On a similar note to this, I recently calculated the daytime vehicle requirements for all of the city and airport routes. As we're about to see big changes, now's a better time than any to share them, to see how they'll change. Hopefully I haven't made any errors...
Giving the usual timeframe between the VOSA Registration and Lothians official announcement, when do you think we’ll hear official word on the service change?
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
