I did fine on all, 50/50 on TRP part 1. Not so sure on a few answers! I wander what the pass mark is for TRP part 1? I read somewhere on this forum that it is 16/18, but not sure how reliable that is.

I really doubt that anyone on here knows in all fairness but I guess it depends on whether Avanti used enhanced standard for this specific test.

Were you on this morning?

If you're due to go yourself, I'd just focus on going as quickly but more importantly as accurately as you feel comfortable going. Looking though the forum some people have done anywhere between 8 and 13 rows and passed.

Yes, on the website it is stage 4, but for OPC its stage 2 face to face which is the final stage for OPC, after this Avanti takes over.

I attended day before yesterday on the 12th. They said to wait 7 to 10 days, was very surprised to see the email, thought I failed at first. This was the longest time I opened an email in my life!

I attended day before yesterday on the 12th. They said to wait 7 to 10 days, was very surprised to see the email, thought I failed at first. This was the longest time I opened an email in my life!

Me too. That was by far the hardest for me. Lots of info to retain. If I don’t progress that’s why- the rest I’m pretty confident on

Yes indeed it was the hardest, rest was very easy to be honest.

It’s a passage of text relating to the train braking system. It’s an A4 sheet full of text. Maybe 5 paragraphs. Then 18 questions on that text

No rulesbook, I practiced using GB tool here and practice from the email, they will send you it when you reach that stage.

I was in Watford yesterday too, the acronyms for the tests have ruined my brain.

Bourdon I think I did okay, TRP I feel was fine. It was the tones one for me that I don’t think I did well with, the guy infront of me was tapping the cloth on the table to the tones and it distracted me :D

See what happens eh? Something like this, you’re only as good as you are on the day.

I was lucky, no one distracted me. If there were other noises at the same time in the room as the tones are being played, I can imagine it will effect you.

How did you do on the group bourdon? I did mine yesterday man I really wanna get to next stage.....
