One thing that I hear from time to time is the acceptance of standing during tram journeys because many journeys are of short duration, but looking to expect this same argument on journey lengths from Manchester to Wigan via the Atherton line is somewhat worrying.
Quite a number of postings on different threads cover the type of seating in the M5000 series, which also has to be considered on long tram journeys and I would ask if contributors on this thread if the seats on the Vantage Guided Busway vehicles are more passenger friendly than those on the M5000 trams.
